PAYMENT AND RETURNS
All prices are in EURO and inclusive of VAT/IVA. Customs duties or other local taxes may have to be paid to the courier upon delivery of your order. They will be payable by the customer and raise of its whole responsibility as well in terms for declarations as for payments to the authorities qualified organisms for your country. We recommend you contact your local customs authority to determine a landed cost price
prior to purchase completion. We accept payment by Paypal or bank transfer. Please contact us by phone or e-mail if you prefer to pay via bank transfer, you will receive 2% discount on any bank transfer payments. The goods remain our property until complete payment.
IInd Studio makes every effort to accommodate product returns with a generous return policy. However if an item is customized or made to order, such as an hand knotted or hand tufted rug, IInd Studio cannot cancel the order after 48 hours of placement or accept a return. Other goods received may be returned (not worn / not washed) within 7 days. The 7-day period begins upon receipt of return request in written form (e.g. by letter, or email at email@example.com. Sending the goods or notice within this period is sufficient. Returns should be sent in original package to address stated by IInd Studio. IInd Studio does not cover any return shipping costs. In the event of the effective return, the services received by both parties are to be returned and any benefits obtained (e.g. use benefits) are to be surrendered. In the case of deterioration of goods, replacement value may be claimed. Obligations to reimburse payments must be fulfilled within 30 days. The deadline begins upon sending the goods.
The customer’s attention is drawn to the washing and care instructions stated on the product labels. FROZEN PALMS shall not assume any liability for damages resulting from incorrect treatment.
Warranties for any deficiencies of the purchased goods are determined by legal requirements. IInd Studio applies the Swedish Consumer Purchases Act. All rugs ordered via IInd Studio have a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty against faulty craftsmanship. Non-Transferability: These warranties are extended only to the original purchaser and are not transferable. Warranties are not applicable to carpet sold as second quality, irregular, used or mill end. These terms are construed in accordance with Swedish law and Swedish Law shall apply.
Consequential or Incidental Damages: WE EXCLUDE AND WILL NOT PAY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES UNDER THIS WARRANTY. By this we mean any loss, expense, or damage other than to the carpet itself that may result from a defect in the carpet. Including, without limitation, trip charges, delivery delays, extra handling and labor involved in bordering or sculpturing. Colors are subject to different dye lots and may vary from pictures displayed on www.frozenpalms.com.
This does not constitute a product defect. Our partners use the highest quality dyes available that offer most resistance to fading. However, there are no dyes that are completely “photo stable” or impervious to fading in different lights. Over time, any material left in strong sunlight or illuminated spotlights will fade. White may become yellow over time or after being exposed to strong sunlight or illuminated spotlights. Color variation is not a manufacturer fault. A new rug will always initially shed (surplus wool) and sprout. This is typical of all new handmade rugs and it is not a defect. Simply clip any loose threads that appear and vacuum regularly. Personalized and custom-made items are, regretfully, non-returnable, unless there is a manufacturing defect.
Your rug warranties do not cover; Damage resulting from carelessly opening the shipping packaging that the rug is delivered in, i.e. knife cuts; Damage resulting from any accidents or mishandling such as staining, soiling, burning, flooding, cutting, and damage caused by pets, staining from common household food or beverage substances; Damage or appearance issues on rugs installed on stairs, in bathrooms, or in kitchens. Problems caused by wetting or persistence of excessive moisture; Damage or appearance problems due to client’s own choice of material. Changes in carpet color resulting from external causes, such as fading due to sunlight, lights, ozone, or spills of household chemicals and other non-food and non-beverage substances; Differences between the color and texture of the image shown on www.bysecondstudio.com and the actual rug. Marks on the floor by unremoved rug protection tape; Problems caused by improper installation; Deterioration of anti slip padding that might appear over time; Yellowing, shadding or crushing.
